この場所がどこなのかずっと思い出せませんでした。残されていたプリントでは場所が特定できなかったのです。今回，スキャンした画像に石の標柱が写っていて「荒尾」「展望所」などの字が読めました。紀伊大島に渡ったときの写真ではないかと思っていたのでかなり驚きました。ところが心当たりのある熊本市郊外の荒尾山，北にある荒尾市の周辺を検索してもわかりません。ついに天草下島に「荒尾岳」を発見しました。どうやら大江や崎津の教会を訪ねる旅の途中でサティロケだけのために立ち寄った展望所のようです。
I couldn't remember where this place was. The location could not be identified in remaining prints. This time, the scanned image showed a stone pillar, and I could read characters such as "Arao" and "Observatory". I was quite surprised because I thought it was a photo taken when I went to Kii Oshima. However, I can't find it even if I search around Mt.Arao in the suburbs of Kumamoto City and Arao City in the north. Finally, I found "Arao peak" on Amakusa Shimoshima. Apparently, it's like an observatory that we visited by just for the location of Satie work.
インターネットに上がっている写真を見ると，この展望所は今も変わらずにあるようです。しかし世界遺産に登録され，道路が整備されたことで周辺の景観は一変しています。ボクたちはこのときを含めて5度天草を訪ねましたが，もう行くことはないかもしれません。
It seems the apearance of this obserbatory is no chenged with looking at the photos posted on the Internet. However, it has been registered as a World Heritage Site, the roads have been improved, and the surrounding scenery has changed completely. We visited Amakusa five times including this time, but we may not go there anymore.
逆光で暗くつぶれている体の色を明るく起こすと画面が荒れてしまいます。デジタルのRaw画像と違ってデータ量が少ないためにレタッチで色を拾うことができないからです。
The color becomes rough that the subject was darkened due to backlight. Unlike digital raw images, the amount of data is small, so colors cannot be picked up.
ハットをまとったサティがハッとするほど美しい。
懐かしさを感じる色合いや画質がとてもいいです。
写真の思い出と共にシエナさんはサティさんをますます好きになっていくでしょうね。
