Indian cotton cloth
「Indian cotton cloth」のアルバムが完成しました。
吉祥寺駅から井の頭公園に行く道にアジアンな雑貨店が集まっていて，サティがお気に入りのショッピングスポットのひとつです。ある休日，ボクはそこでこれらの大きなインド風の布を見つけました。さっそく帰宅後に寝室に敷き詰めて撮ったのがこの作品です。
Satie often goes shopping along the road from Kichijoji station to Inokashira Park. There are some nice Asian variety stores there. One holiday I went into the store together on a whim and found these Indian-style cloths. After returning home I spread them in our bedroom and took this picture.
照明に持ち出したのはベッドサイドの普通の読書灯です(笑)
It's a normal reading light at the bedside (lol)
これらの布は現在でも家具のカバーなどに使っています。
We still use these cloths for furniture covers and the like.
コンデジ時代の作品のリメークです。昔のように少しでも見栄えよくしようとするレタッチ作業に懐かしさが漂います(笑)。如何せん元画像の横幅が1024pixelしかないのでこれが限界です。
I remaked this former series which is taken with a compact digital camera. I trid the retouching work that tries to make it look good even a little. It made me feel nostalgic. But there is a limit because the number of pixels is overwhelmingly insufficient.
